Since it's inception in 2009, blocHaus has established itself as a multi-disciplinary boutique interiors and architectural design and fabrication firm located in Chicago, IL. We specialize in Hospitality Interior Design, with a focus on Hotels and Restaurants. Our designs are carefully curated and tailored to reflect the unique vision of each client, while addressing the specific operational needs of the project.

Restaurant / Hotel Design
As a multi-disciplinary interiors and architecture firm, blocHaus is well aware of the evolving needs of the restaurant and hotel industries. We offer an array of services to people who are looking at potential locations for their upcoming project(s) as well as operational, layout, design, investment, and construction advice for new and existing locations and clients.
Permit Documentation
blocHaus is able to acquire all required permits for jobs ranging from small mercantile venues to full scale corporate developments, and hospitality developments. We have the privilege of knowing several great permitting architects, all over the world. These are trusted individuals whom blocHaus has worked with for years. They are able offer us great pricing to get our clients the permit(s) they need. blocHaus does not offer/run/or deliver permits; all is done through third party, and stamped by said party. Said services are clearly called out in our agreements, and any permitting architects agreement will also be included in the overall agreement. Permitting architects are required to stamp and certify any all drawings before issuance. Permitting architects shall also be required to have their own insurance and to list the client as an insured entity under their policy. Additionally, permitting architects are fully liable for any work they have stamped and permitted, not blocHaus.

Our hands-on approach through construction starts from beginning to end. Watching the details we have curated coming to life in your space ensures every project delivered exceeds your expectations.
Graphic Design
As a cross-disciplinary studio, we not only design your spaces, we can design your branding, logo, and all signage. This continuity through space, web graphics, stationary, and marketing materials allows us to ensure the consumer connects on a deeper level with the brand and form a sense of loyalty.
